Can a minor stay at a hostel and get caught?
Alright, read this before you answer. So I’m only 17, and I’m really low on money. I don’t live with my parents anymore (NOT A RUNAWAY, I’m just independent and have my own place and stuff), but anyways I decided to take a trip down to Miami to vist a few friends, but I’m really low on cash, so i want to check out the South beach hostel, but the thing is, you have to be 18 to check out a dorm room and be 18 to stay there. So I decided to have a friend of mine check a room out for me and have her give me the security card when she is done getting checked out, but my actual question is will I be able to stay there and not get caught?
Highly doubtful. Most hostels are very strict these days. The people at the desk are going to remember your face when you check in.
