I am in need of immediate help for some ideas on a Christmas Parade entry?
I just found out that our business entered the parade, and I have no clue where to begin on making this. It’s going to be a night parade, so it will have to have plenty of Christmas lighting. It will have to be very basic and inexpensive, as there’s not much time (a few days) to make it, and we are a new store with a very limited budget. The store is a cash advance business. Please help!! get a pickup truck, and a few sheets of cellular foan insulation,,, 1 inch will do,,, in white. Enlist a team to cut it into the shape of the “Sleigh” large enough to cover the sides of the truck. and/ maybe the back.
Double stick tape, wire, rope, etc… the sleigh sham to the truck, allowing access for the doors and view.
Get a Santa, who can ride in the truck bed. Have the Kids dress as elves, letting them prance around and/or ride on the truck with santa.
Fake presents, some fake snow, definitely a sound system CD Player with Christmas music,,, and some trinkets to toss to the crowd,,, and/or have the elves hand out candy canes to kids in the audience.
With no offense meant,,, YOUR business is no where near a NON PROFIT business,,, and you should attempt this as a fun project promoting good will… Hand out “Amscot” (Or who ever you might represent) pens if ya have to.
By the way,, and again with no real offense meant,,, Cash advance businesses and the idea of Christmas are oxymoronic.
